True Story is the debut album by the southern rapper B.G., was released on July 29, 1995. Originally, the B.G.'z were a group consisting of Lil Doogie (B.G.), who was only 14 years old, and Baby D (Lil Wayne), who was 12. Due to his age, Wayne's mother didn't allow him to record such profane lyrics but he still did, and the name B.G. was given to Doogie. This album was released in 1995, and re-released in 1999, when Cash Money Records got a distribution deal with Universal Records. "True Story," and "Fuck Big Boy" are disses against Mystikal and Big Boy Records, another independent label from New Orleans.[2]
